Annual Humane Society of the BVI Dog Show
The 27th Annual Humane Society of the BVI Dog Show was held Sunday July 21, 2002 at Peg Leg's Landing, Nanny Cay, Tortola.
More than 60 dogs in various classes competed for best of class and best of show.
Among Virgin Gorda contestants, Pinkerton (Rita Kallman) placed first and Fluke (Sandra Jarret) placed third among the Short-Haired Island Dogs, while Duffy (Joe Giacinto) placed first in the Sporting Dogs class.
We journeyed from Leverick Bay via speedboat Apache for a day of fun, food, competition and awards.
