The Leverick Bay Resort and Marina sponsored a Poker Run on
May 26, 2002.
More than a dozen boats entered playing more than two dozen $200 poker hands.
The boats left Leverick Bay at noon for Cooper Island to pull their
first card. Then on to the Willie-T at Norman Island for card number two. Next
to Jolly Roger at Sopers Hole for card three and lunch. Finally to Fisher One
moored off Great Dog for card four before heading back to Leverick Bay for the
fifth and final card.
The poker winners were announced following the Pig Roast dinner at the party with entertainment by Lattitude Stars.
Proceeds benefited VISAR and ARC.
