Seventh Annual Leverick Bay Poker Run

While performance boats are featured, any  boat can enter. If you could row the course, you would be in with the same chance as anybody else -- it’s the cards that count!

 Don't own a boat? Let us know if you want to sign-on to one of the many Charter Boats that will participate.
All boats must check in at Leverick Bay Resort and Marina between 8am and 10am.

If you send us a completed Entry Form before the event you can save time on the day of the event.

The Winning Poker Hand

The best Poker hand wins the Grand Prize -- Big Money  based upon total entries. There also are generous prizes for 2nd and 3rd best hands. The entrance fee money goes into the prize money, so the more boats the bigger the prizes. More than one hand can be purchased per boat and per person to increase your chances of winning.

Ranking of the Poker Hands

1) Royal Flush:  Ace King Queen Jack ten (same suit)
2) Straight Flush:  Running numbers (same suit) 2 3 4 5 6
3) Five of a kind:  Five of the same e.g Ace Ace Ace Ace Ace
4) Full House:  Three of a kind and a pair e.g J J J 3 3
5) Flush:  Five cards (same suit) e.g K J 7 3 2
6) Straight:  Five cards in rank order (not same suit) e.g 9 8 7 6 5
7) Three of a kind:  Three cards of any rank e.g 10 10 10 4 2
8) Two pair:  Two pair of cards with one other e.g 8 8 4 4 J
9) One pair: One pair of cards and Three others e.g 6 6 5 3 K
